Brandon’s journey began in 2013, when his passion for the craft took root at one of Schwarzkopf Professional’s top salons in the heart of Silicon Valley. His drive for excellence was immediately apparent — he rose to Master Stylist, earning Schwarzkopf Professional’s prestigious BLONDME and COLOR EXPERT certifications. Committed to mastering every dimension of the craft, he pursued global education at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, completed Love Curls Workshops, and became certified through Keratin Complex — building a foundation as rare as it is refined.
After four years of sharpening his artistry, Brandon opened his first salon in Silicon Valley — a milestone accompanied by one of the industry’s most coveted distinctions: the Schwarzkopf Professional Royal Master Colorist certification, the brand’s highest honor in color mastery.
In 2018, Schwarzkopf Professional invited Brandon to join their ASK Expert National Educator team — a recognition reserved for the industry’s most trusted voices. In that role, he has traveled nationwide, sharing his expertise alongside some of the most respected names in hair, including Jon Reyman of Cinta Aveda Institute, Ricky Zito (@Hairgodzito), Candy Shaw (@Thebalaylama), Butterfly Loft Salon, Josie Vilay, Maggie Hancock, and Liz Haven. In 2019, he was recognized by the Schwarzkopf Professional field team as Social Media Superstar of the Year — a testament to both his artistry and his ability to inspire a global audience.
In February 2021, Brandon co-founded Bal-Lance Salon, a 20-station luxury commission salon in the heart of downtown Saratoga. As Creative Director, he leads the salon’s artistic vision, mentors his team of artists, and continues to push the boundaries of color, blonding, and extension work. He specializes in I-Tip, Tape-In, and Beaded Weft hair extensions — helping guests achieve transformations that are as technically flawless as they are beautiful.
Brandon’s editorial and campaign work has taken him to some of the most prestigious stages in the world. He served as Hairstylist for the Dior Cruise 2027 Show at LACMA (May 2026) — marking Jonathan Anderson’s debut for the house — and has contributed his artistry to the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2024 Launch Event Glam Team, Oliveda x Vogue.com (2025), New York Fashion Week with Malan Breton (Spring 2023), and Portland Fashion Week (2023). As a proud member of Beautick’s international network, he participated in Hair Education and Runway/Editorial Preparation in Milan (2025) and was selected as a 2026 International Fashion Hairstylist by renowned director Beppe D’Elia. His brand partnerships include Schwarzkopf Professional, Alterna Anti-Aging Haircare, K18, Kérastase, and Bellami Pro — and he is a proud member of the Henkel North America Innovation Team.

How can you protect your hair in the summer?
Use a conditioner or better yet a Masque in your hair before swimming or gym or just the store runs. Bun or slick back and all.

How often should you really get your hair cut?
It really does depend on the cut….. but I would say 2 to 3 months. No more then 6 ever
Is it worth spending a lot of money on shampoo and conditioner?
Of coarse like you spend money in salon why would you not spend money on products. I can only do so much in salon.
