At Bal-Lance Salon + Wellness, your experience is our top priority. These policies are designed to protect your time, your artist’s time, and to ensure fairness for all of our valued guests. By reserving an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
✨ Mandatory Salon Forms
All reservations require a New Guest Information Form to be completed before entering the salon. This ensures we have the necessary information to provide you with the safest and most customized experience possible.
👩👧 Guests Under 18
A legal guardian must be present in person to consent before any service may begin. The guardian must also complete the required forms. If a service cannot be completed for safety reasons, the cancellation or no-show fee will still apply.
💳 Credit Card Capture & Deposits
A credit card capture is required for all services. Chemical services, including color, lightening, and smoothing treatments, require a 20% non-refundable deposit which will be applied toward your service. All services are non-refundable without exception.
📅 Reschedule & Cancellation Window
Life happens, and we completely understand. As a courtesy, Vagaro sends reminders 48 hrs and 24 hrs before every appointment. Because your time is reserved exclusively for you, the following applies:
– Reschedules or cancellations with less than 48 hrs’ notice = 20% fee of the reserved service amount
– Reschedules or cancellations with less than 32 hrs’ notice = 50% fee of the reserved service amount
– No-shows = 100% of the reserved service amount, plus 20% gratuity
– Arrivals 15+ mins late may require rescheduling and will be treated as a no-show
📌 Closed Days
We are closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Guests with Wednesday or Thursday appointments must still follow the reschedule and cancellation window.
📲 Valid Communication Only
To avoid fees, all reschedule or cancellation requests must be submitted only through the following official channels:

– Vagaro Connect App → to send messages directly to Bal-Lance Salon management and staff 24/7 for reschedules, cancellations, or any issues
Calls, texts, or social media messages will not be accepted as valid notice. Only messages received through email or the Vagaro Connect App are recognized for policy purposes.
💇 Service Re-Do Policy
If you experience an issue with a cut or color (not corrective, hourly, or waiver-required services), please contact us within 7 days for a complimentary adjustment with the same artist.
🛍️ Product Returns
Products may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of purchase.
⚖️ Liability & Compliance
Bal-Lance Salon complies with all California State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology regulations, as well as CDPH, OSHA, and CDC guidelines. By booking and signing our salon forms, you acknowledge that you are receiving services at your own risk, and you release Bal-Lance Salon LLC and its artists from all liability.
