experience across the San Francisco Bay Area, Larry has built a reputation as a skilled
artist and trusted educator whose work speaks for itself. As Director at Bal-Lance Salon,
Larry has been an integral part of the team since the salon’s grand opening in 2021,
helping shape the standard of excellence that defines the Bal-Lance experience to this
day.
A lifelong student of his craft, Larry has pursued advanced education throughout his
career. He completed both the Vidal Sassoon ABC Women’s Haircutting course in 2018
and the Men’s Cutting course in 2019, and holds certifications in Keratin Complex
Smoothing, as well as I-Tip, Tape-In, and Beaded Weft Extensions. His extensive
background spans leading professional brands including Redken, L’Oréal, Paul Mitchell,
and Wella — though for the past eight years, he has partnered exclusively with
Schwarzkopf Professional, where his expertise in color innovation earned him the
distinguished role of Senior ASK Expert and a position on the Calendly 1:1 Consultation
Support Team.
His artistry has graced the runways of New York, Los Angeles, and Portland Fashion
Weeks, and his work has been featured at exclusive private events for luxury brands
such as Tiffany & Co. and Gucci.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Larry is uniquely positioned to connect with a
diverse range of salon professionals, fostering an inclusive learning environment and
expanding the reach of his education on a national level. As a Schwarzkopf
Professional AE, he is passionate about inspiring creativity, sharing his expertise with
salon partners across the country, and elevating confidence through the transformative
power of advanced color education.
