At Bal-Lance Salon + Wellness, your experience is our top priority. These policies protect your time, your artist's time, and every guest's experience. By booking with us, you agree to the following:
MANDATORY SALON FORMS
All reservations require a New Guest Information Form completed before entering the salon, ensuring we have what we need to provide the safest, most customized experience possible.
GUESTS UNDER 18
A legal guardian must be present in person to consent before service begins, and must complete all required forms. If a service can't be completed for safety reasons, cancellation or no-show fees still apply.
CREDIT CARD CAPTURE & DEPOSITS
A credit card is required to hold all bookings. Chemical services (color, lightening, smoothing) require a 20% non-refundable deposit, applied toward your service. All services are final — no refunds without exception.
RESCHEDULE & CANCELLATION WINDOW
Vagaro sends reminders 48 and 24 hours before every appointment. Because your time is reserved exclusively for you:
- Less than 48 hours' notice: 20% fee of the reserved service amount.
- Less than 32 hours' notice: 50% fee of the reserved service amount.
- No-shows: 100% of the reserved service amount, plus 20% gratuity.
- Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may require rescheduling and will be treated as a no-show.
CLOSED DAYS
We're closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Wednesday and Thursday appointments still follow the standard reschedule and cancellation policies.
VALID COMMUNICATION ONLY
To avoid fees, all reschedule or cancellation requests must be received and acknowledged by a Bal-Lance Salon employee. Social media messages are not acceptable as valid notification for cancellations.

SERVICE RE-DO POLICY
Issue with a cut or color (excludes corrective, hourly, or waiver-required services). Contact us within 7 days for a complimentary adjustment with the same artist. We do not offer refunds on any service.
PRODUCT RETURNS
Products may be exchanged or refunded within 14 days of purchase. We do not offer refunds on any service.
LIABILITY & COMPLIANCE
Bal-Lance Salon complies with all California State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology regulations, plus CDPH, OSHA, and CDC guidelines. By booking and signing our forms, you acknowledge you're receiving services at your own risk and release Bal-Lance Salon LLC and its artists from all liability.

To hold your reservation, we ask for a 25% deposit on services $85 or more — this small step helps us make sure your time is protected and ready for you. Your deposit is applied directly towards the cost of your service.
